ProAm Auto Accessories has launched an all new website to help improve our customer service and to offer more of our product lines to our online customers. ProAm Auto opened in 1984 helping to create the automotive aftermarket and “auto accessory boutique” retail experience in Houston, TX. After more than a decade building our local reputation and using “old school” marketing like advertising in magazines such as Autoweek, Car & Driver, and the like, we built our first website in 1997.
The original site was very basic but contained enough information for customers to know what we carried and how they could reach us to order products. As the internet developed, so did ProAmAuto.com. In 2003, we added online ordering, offering our main product lines – Bilstein shocks and Koni shocks. We also added Escort Radar detectors and PIAA lighting. From 2003 until 2008, ProAmAuto.com provided more than 50% of our sales revenue.
Now, in 2012 we have upgraded the website again to give greater customer service and to offer a vastly larger amount of products. The new website features an easy Year, Make, Model lookup for all the parts we offer that are vehicle specific – products like shock absorbers, oil and air filters, lowering kits, and many other performance items. We also have many other product lines that are new to our online customers like Corbeau seats, and Royal Purple and Red Line Oils. The new ProAmAuto.com helps you place your order, keep track of your order status, and also lets you create a wishlist for your future orders. We also now have the ability to process all 4 main credit cards, as well as accept PayPal.
